Clear aligner vs fixed braces
Clear aligner braces (Invisalign) are made of clear plastic and are virtually invisible. They are custom-made to fit snugly over your teeth and gradually move them into the desired position. These aligners are removable, which means you can take them out to eat, brush, and floss.
Fixed braces are usually made of metal brackets and wires that are bonded to the teeth. They are not removable and require periodic adjustments by the orthodontist to gradually move the teeth into the correct position.
