We spoke to one of our patients, Julie Sanderson, who underwent dental implant treatment recently, to find out the difference it’s made to her lifestyle…

Why did Julie need dental implants?

Julie had been coping with an old upper denture and loose lower teeth for many years. As a proud member of a local choir, Julie would regularly perform throughout the year, however when Julie lost her lower teeth, she also lost her ability to sing, which had a hugely negative impact on her life.

Julie’s treatment

To restore her confidence and give her back the ability to sing, speak and chew freely, we fitted a full set of dental implants supporting a fixed bridge to her lower teeth. The results were remarkable and transformed Julie’s smile and lifestyle.

Julie told us: “Mr Harrison and his team were excellent. They took the time to understand my concerns and explain what would be the best options for me in the long term.

“I am 70 this year but I am back in the choir and doing the things I love. I wish I had done this many years ago.”
